There are speculations that a new couple is out there. Fans believe MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and the announcer Kim Yoon-hee have been dating for the past 4 years. Fans believe they have the evidence to support their claims. The “evidence” has been circulating the web and based on the “evidence,” fans are convinced that the two of them are, in fact, a couple.

The first proof that was found was on Kim Yoon-hee’s Facebook post that was shared on February 20th, 2014. She wrote, “I’m graduating from Sungshin Women’s University. Congratulations to my classmates and I appreciate my family, Yoon Sun, Hyungwon, and Hyun Woo who’ve been there for me.”

The second proof is a photo that Kim Yoon-hee posted. It was a photo that displayed a gift that she received. The writing on the box read, “Be good to me. I miss you.’ Fans claim the handwriting is identical to the handwriting of Hyungwon.

In another post, Kim Yoon-hee posted an image with the caption, “My boyfriend is manjjitnam.” However, that exact term is used to describe an incredibly handsome guy who looks perfect like a cartoon, which happens to be Hyungwon’s nickname.

In another post, she shared a photo of a puppy with the caption that read, “Mon bebe,” which is the boy group’s official fandom name. Kim Yoon-hee also has responded to fans’ direct messages that tell her to stop displaying signs of their relationship. Kim Yoon-hee’s Instagram story read, “I’ve been living quietly for the past 4 years so I’m not sure what you guys mean for me to be even quieter and stop showing signs… Also, unfortunately, nothing is going to change even if you look at my Instagram and send me messages.” She added, “Work is work and personal life is personal life. I can’t answer questions about my personal matters but you guys just do what you guys want and ask personal questions and that’s also making me want to do whatever I want.”

In response to all the “evidence,” Starship Entertainment responded through the official home page of MONSTA X on August 4th.

“Hyungwon and the woman he had been dating broke up in early 2016, and have not met even once since that time,” Starship Entertainment stated. They then apologized for the disappointment of fans that had been caused by the woman’s recent post on social media, as well as the ensuing rumors that spread online. “We can no longer simply watch as MONSTA X and fans are hurt and suffer due to the false rumors and malicious comments about Hyungwon online,” they stated.

Starship Entertainment promised to take strong legal action against those who post comments that spread false rumors and thus defame their artists’ reputations and said they hope that posts that contain false accusations and rumors about MONSTA X will be voluntarily deleted.
