Posting Sexual Group Chat with Zico and Other Rappers About Nicki Minaj
He got himself in hot water because of posting a screenshot from his group chat with his fellow rapper friends on his Instagram story. The members of the group include Zico, Dean, Young B, and Hangzoo. They got caught in a controversy over the sexual harassment and mockery of Nicki Minaj. In the chat, Olltii sent a photo of Nas, Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend, saying, “I’m not really sure about Nicki Minaj’s butt. It looks like she did have butt implants.” Zico and Hangzoo just replyied with a laugh because of his jokes. Young B responded with, “I don’t know about Olltii hyung’s rap but he is really funny lol.” To this, Zico replied, “F*ck. He said he doesn’t know about his rap.. Hong Won ee..”
Olltii soon posted an apology and emphasized that the reactions of the other members of the chat did not imply agreement. He even tagged Nicki Minaj on that post with the caption, “I am so sorry and I deeply apologize @nickiminaj – Dear Ms.Nicki Minaj. Hello. I’m Olltii, a rapper from South Korea. I posted a sexist picture of a conversation I had about you on my Instagram story. Initially, and stupidly, I did not realize that I was wrong in doing so.. it was sexual harassment and I was ignorant on how big of a mistake I was making. I completely acknowledge that there was discrimination and aversion displayed toward women on my part. If you ever see this message, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or pain this may have caused you. This will never happen again. I will continue to reflect and think more deeply before acting. Again, I want to say I am so sorry.” The next day Zico also shared an apology, as well as Hangzoo, who apologized on Instagram saying that he never meant to agree with the joke.
