WINNER’s Seungyoon in King of Mask Singer
Running since 2015 as part of the MBC Sunday Night Shows, King of Mask Singer has invited celebrities in various fields as its participants, including the star of our article WINNER’s Seungyoon. In late April 2017, Seungyoon appeared as one of the contestants.
Unfortunately, Seungyoon was eliminated in the first battle round as he only got 46 votes, while his contender received 53 votes. After losing the round, Seungyoon sang 4MEN’s “Baby baby,” the song which he had prepared for the second round while unmasking his face, earning a wild response from the audiences when they could see his face clearly. To conclude his appearance in the show, Seungyoon said that he tried to fill the stage alone after not being able to do so in years. In addition, he revealed that his groupmates expected him to pass the first round, “The results are a bit disappointing. Not only he attended the show as the contestant, but Seungyoon also joined King of Mask Singer as the guest panel member along with his teammate Seunghoon. In May 2018, it was reported that the WINNER members did their job exceptionally as they were able to observe the mystery contestants throughout the filming of the show, displaying how they were even able to spot small things, such as the way the contestant bows or the way the contestant pronounces while singing.
Not only guessing the contestants, Seungyoon and Seunghoon danced to “Really Really” in a segment, showing their overflowing charisma especially to the female audiences who attended the show.

WINNER’s Seungyoon Dog
As a human being, we do not merely live on our own but also co-exist with other organisms. With so many mammals existing in the world, dogs have been chosen as one of the pets. In December 2017, WINNER’s Seungyoon publicized the fact that he has adopted a rescue dog that he named Thor. Seungyoon stated that he found out about Thor through social media, as soon as he was rescued the previous month. Apparently, Thor was originally planned to be euthanized because he could not find an adopter who would provide him with a home.

Fortunately, Thor is now adopted by Seungyoon who continuously showers him with love. In the V Live broadcast, Seungyoon encouraged people to adopt dogs from the shelter instead of buying them from the pet shop. Furthermore, Seungyoon also stated that he thought a lot before adopting Thor, “I was indecisive whether I should adopt a puppy or not. I thought about whether I’d be able to be a responsible owner if I brought a dog home. I feel like I’m ready to be responsible now, which is why I brought Thor home with me.”

Currently, Thor lives with Seungyoon and also with Seunghoon, who has a dog in their apartment as well.
WINNER’s Seungyoon Dating Rumors and Ideal Type
Popular idol groups usually are involved in dating rumors, either with their colleagues in the music industry or other similar fields. However, this type of incident has not occurred to WINNER’s Seungyoon as he has never been in the news for a dating rumor. On the other hand, Seungyoon has talked in details about the woman he considers to be his ideal type.
During his special appearance on SBS PowerFM’s Lee Gook-joo’s Youngstreet, the WINNER leader stated that he is looking for a wise and sensible person as his partner, “I am the type who places a lot of importance on the process of seeing someone quite often and getting to know them through conversations.” As for the physique, Seungyoon said that the ideal body proportions are the appearance that he thinks about the most.
