Kwon Da-mi Can’t Stop Crying After G-Dragon Enlisted
On February 27th, 2018, Kwon Da-mi shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram account for her one and only brother. She posted a photo of her hugging G-Dragon and wrote, “I didn’t want to write anything but I can’t stop my tears. My lovely dongsaeng, be healthy and return safely. I love you the most in the world.” On the day of G-Dragon’s enlistment, Da-mi hugged her brother goodbye before he left to begin his military service.
On November 2nd, 2018, Da-mi shared a photo of an autumn leaf with the caption, “You are a person who is more than deserving of being loved.” She mentioned G-Dragon’s Instagram username at the end of her caption.
On Da-mi’s Instagram story, she added more to the story behind the leaf. She wrote, “He’s a romantic guy. He’s so lovely and cute. Is there a guy out there who isn’t my brother who is like this? He said he had a gift for me and put this leaf in my hand. Oh, he’s so sweet.”
G-Dragon enlisted in the military for his mandatory service on February 27th, 2018. He will be discharged on November 26th, 2019.
Kwon Da-mi Dating Kim Min-joon
On June 2nd, 2019, SBS funE reported that actor Kim Min-joon is dating Bigbang’s G-Dragon’s non-celebrity older sister Kwon Da-mi. Kim Min-joon confirmed the news that he is dating Kwon Da-mi in an interview with news outlet OSEN. He shared that they were seeing each other in a good and comfortable relationship. The couple is not considering marriage just yet. He was worried about exposing their relationship to the public because she is a non-celebrity.
According to OSEN, several sources close to the couple shared that the two became close due to a mutual interest in music and fashion. Their relationship naturally developed into a romantic one as they spent time with each other. The couple also matched each other’s energies well and were said to be very affectionate.
