Get Closer with Korean Boy Band, Boys Republic
Boys Republic is one of the boy bands from South Korea, with a formation of five members, namely, Onejunn, Sunwoo, Sungjun, Minsu, and Suwoong. Boys Republic debuted on June 5th, 2013, with the single “Party Rock.” On September 12th, 2018, they announced that they will be going on an indefinite hiatus. They were the first band formed by Universal Music.
Previously, Boys Republic debuted as a band that had received two years of training under Universal Music and Jung Hae IK of Happy Tribe Entertainment. They had been training in singing, dancing, acting, and languages and cultures of other countries.
However, in 2018 they chose to go on hiatus. A lot of the media said that Boys Republic would disband, but it was immediately denied by their agency and said that the rumors were untrue.
