The first drama of Han Sunhwa that we will talk about is Marriage, Not communicating which aired on cable broadcast tvN in 2014. The story told about 2 contrasting lead casts namely Gong Gi-Tae (acted Yeon Woo-jin), the plastic surgeon who doesn’t have a desire in the union, and Joo Jang-mi (acted by Han Groo), the store girl who’s extremely desperate to get married.
In this drama, Han Sunhwa took the supporting role as Kang Se-ah, the former fiance and girlfriend of Gong Gi-Tae who’s still friends with her former boyfriend as if they are still the good friends, however, ended up blackmail him since she wants to have a kid of her own.
Even though her part in this play is thought of as a villain or antagonist, we have to say that we are impressed with Han Sunhwa’s acting ability who’s gradually improved compared to her prior encounter.

In this drama, Han Sunhwa took yet another supporting role as Han Soo-ji, a police officer that must be clubbed into the school due to her fault in mishandling a situation. The same as in Marriage, Not Dating, we can say that now Han Sunhwa has awakened her acting skill by taking a role who has different traits and characteristics compared to her previous roles.
