New Kids on The Block of JYP Babies, Stray Kids!

They were the super-rookies the year they debuted, they are the stray kids that make you want them to stay, the kids that will get you to fall in love with them slowly but surely. Who are the kids that we’re going to talk about? Yeah, it’s none other than Stray Kids!

Stray Kids is a South Korean boy-group that debuted in March, 2018, under JYP Entertainment, the same agency as 2PM, Got7, Twice, Day6, etc. The group consists of nine young boys, who are Bang Chan, the leader, Woo-jin, Lee Know, Chang-bin, Hyun-jin, Han, Felix, Seung-min, and the youngest, or maknae, I.N.

Before they made their official debut with a song called District 9 on March 26, 2018, they had a survival program on Mnet called Stray Kids, that aired from October 2017 until December 2017. The concept of the survival program was a lot like Sixteen, the survival program that had female trainees from JYP Entertainment as the contestants, the winners of which became part of the group Twice.

As Stray Kids started, the group released a pre-debut song called Hellevator, in 2017. The song was composed and written by Bang Chan, Han, and Chang-bin, and other composers.

When living in Sydney, Chan and his family used to move often. He said that he used to live in Strathfield, Five Dock, etc.
He was a trainee with JYP for 7 years, and he trained with members of Got7, Day6 and Twice.
He’s friends with Got7’s Bam Bam and Yu-gyeom, Twice’s Sana, and soloist Park Ji-min.
He moved to Sydney when he was a child.
