Sechskies, who debuted on April 15, 1997, are considered as the most successful Korean boy-band at the beginning of K-pop culture. The group consists of Eun Ji-won, Lee Jai-jin, Kim Jae-duck, and Jang Su-won and Kang Sung-hoon. On May 20, 2000, Sechskies broke up. Surprisingly, after several years the boy-band reunited on April 14, 2016, and signed with YG Entertainment on May 10, 2016. Sechskies’s Appearance in Knowing Brothers
Knowing Brothers is a reality show where the MCs and guest stars have conversation about various topics, including personal topics in a class room. Knowing Brothers (Hangul: 아는형님), which is lead by Kim Hee-Chul (Super Junior), Lee Sang-Min, Min Kyung-Hoon, Lee Soo-Geun, Kim Young-Chul, Kang Ho-Dong, and Seo Jang-Hoon was also called Ask Us Anything / Men on a Mission. This variety show featured Sechskies on episode 106, aired on JTBC at 08.50 KST.
When they were entering the studio/class room of Knowing Brothers, Sechskies was greeted by Hee-chul with his dancing.
On this screen cap, Comedian Lee Soo Geun said, “This game is amazing, in itself. How is Heechul playing a game with Sechskies where they guess which Sechskies song it is?“. Hee-chul, one of MCs on the show, remembered the details of every Sechskies performance, although they first debuted in 1997. Kang Sung Hoon from Sechskies revealed the secret to his young-looking face. He said, “I use baby lotion, so I can look younger. They say it helps sensitive skin if you use baby lotion.” Kim Young Chul added, “I also heard actress Go Hyun Jung uses baby lotion 3-4 times a week. Baby lotion supposedly gives your skin time to breathe.”
