Suran New Single
Shin Su-ran (신수란), famously known as Suran (수란), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and record producer. She is also known by her stage names Elena and Baily Shoo. Suran was born on July 15th, 1986. Suran debuted on July 9th, 2014, with the release of the single “I Got A Feeling.” She debuted as part of the duo Lodia.

About Suran And Chang Mo Collaboration Song Wine
Suran recently released a digital single titled “Wine.” The singer released the song on April 24th, 2017. “Wine” is a collaborative song, produced by Suran herself and some of her popular fellow musicians such as BTS’ Suga, Slow Rabbit, JUNE and featuring rapper Changmo, who also co-produced. Changmo and Suran also participated in writing the lyrics and composing the song with the rest of the people involved.
The song titled “Wine” is a hip-hop R&B with a pop groove and futuristic base song. “Wine” (Korean: 오늘 취하면) is also known as “If I Get Drunk Today” as a literal translation of the title. Back then, Suga and Suran first met because of Suga’s mixtape Agust D, as Suran featured in one of the mixtape’s tracks “So Far Away.” In an interview, Suran stated, “When I was working on some music by myself last year, I was having a hard time and I was feeling depressed. It was at that time that I started talking with Suga about music, and we ended up working together and that’s how ‘Wine’ was created. I’m grateful to him because I received a lot of strength and energy from working with him, and the song came out so well. And I’ve always been a fan of Changmo, so I was very happy when he agreed to feature on my track after listening to the song. I’m grateful to him for elevating the track to another level with his rapping.”
Hidden Meaning Behind Suran Wine
The song titled “Wine,” is a trendy hip-hop, R&B track infused with electro-pop and a futuristic base sang by Suran featuring Changmo as the rapper. The lyrics are about the reflection of the person seeing their memories of their past relationship through a glass of wine. With the groovy rhythm, the emotions from this song are well represented. The song was created when Suran was having a hard time and feeling depressed.

“Wine” was released on April 24th, 2017. The song peaked at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart and the selling reached 500,000 digital downloads by the end of May. The song also topped various other music charts, such as Bugs, Genie, and Olleh Music.
Suran share some of her thoughts when the song topped the charts, “This is my first chart-topper since my debut. I couldn’t have done this alone, and I’m grateful to BTS’ Suga, Slow Rabbit, June, and Changmo for their help.” She added, “The song is so meaningful because everyone came together to create the track, and I am truly grateful. I’m so happy that I had this opportunity to let my voice and music be known to the public. I hope people will continue to be interested in my upcoming mini-album and music.”

After the success of the single, Suran continued to pursue her music career by releasing her debut extended play, Walkin’, on June 2nd, 2017. She also will be releasing her first mini-album in May.
