Hwall’s father is passing away
The sharing agency at The Boyz’s official fan cafe said that a member had recently lost his father on February 4, after battling an illness. Because of this, Hwall was currently in a funeral home with his family and close friends to send his father away.
It was also reported that other members of The Boyz had grieved with Hwall and his family at the funeral home, where they gave condolences and full support to their fellow member while he was going through this sad time. In a formal statement, Cre.ker Entertainment asked fans to consider and understand them during this sad time.
“Because of family wishes, funerals will be carried out privately with only family and acquaintances present. We ask for your understanding so that families can grieve for their loss in peace,” he asked, noting that the Hwall’s family hoped that his father’s funeral would be carried out calmly.
“We apologize for not telling you before, and we hope you will send warm words of support and encouragement to Hwall, his family and close friends,” he added. Fans then convinced the agency on social media that they understood what the idol was doing, and continued to express sincere condolences to him and his family.
Boyz will sweep the B from their feet when they tour Asia in June for their first con-fan in the region.
The Boyz will have an Asian tour
Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Hwall, Sunwoo, and Eric, through a fan-con (a combination of fan meetings and concerts), will visit six cities in Asia outside of South Korea.
Titled the Asia Fan-Con Tour [THE CASTLE], the event will feature the members in Hong Kong on June 14, followed by Bangkok on June 16. The Boyz will continue to provide their fans with extraordinary performances and sweet interactions in Singapore on June 16, in Jakarta on June 22, and in Taipei on June 23. The boy-group will complete THE CASTLE tour in Manila on June 30.
Before starting their six-city in Asia, Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Baru, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Hwall, Sunwoo, and Eric cared for Bs in South Korea, with royal care in Korea. Olympic Park, Olympic Hall 26-27 January.
