TWICE Na-yeon Instagram Story Is Directed At Her Stalker?

On January 1st, 2020, fans were surprised by the Instagram Story upload on TWICE’s official account. In the post that was quickly deleted, one of the TWICE members, who was suspected to be Nayeon begged someone to leave her alone. From the photo, it can be seen that it was taken on a plane.

“Please go home. Please stop it. I am begging you,” it was written in the upload. After a while, a Twitter account known to belong to TWICE’s Nayeon’s stalker wrote down how he tried to deliver a letter on the plane. But two TWICE managers, stopped him. Then, TWICE’s Fans related that the previous Instagram Story post was directed at the stalker of TWICE’s Nayeon who followed her on the plane and Nayeon felt scared.

Official Statement From JYP Entertainment

JYP Entertainment also released an official statement regarding the incident with TWICE’s Nayeon’s stalker on the plane. The agency confirmed the stalker followed up to the TWICE flight back from Japan. He also repeatedly tried to approach Nayeon.

“Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

There was a big disruption in [TWICE] flight from Japan today because foreign stalkers boarded the same plane as Nayeon. The stalker keeps trying to reach Nayeon. Because of the immediate response, fortunately, no damage was done directly to the artist, but they have expressed a lot of discomfort and anxiety.

Nayeon is currently under police surveillance because of this problem, and despite being repeatedly warned by the police and Nayeon herself that he should not approach her, he continues to ignore them, raise his voice towards our staff and clash with our staff. Foreign stalkers continue to behave without regrets for their actions despite consistent warnings. We hereby announce that we will take legal action against him as soon as possible.

We also recognize that artist flight information is illegally sold and distributed. We want to say that we will continue to look for steps to eradicate this problem completely. We would like to express our sincere apologies to the passengers who might be very uncomfortable with this problem.

We will take action to prevent this from happening again. Thank You.”

TWICE Chae-young Privacy Concern

A sasaeng (fanatic fan) of TWICE is acting up again. This time, the sasaeng is known as Josh, allegedly uploaded Chaeyoung’s phone number on purpose on his Twitter account. This then invited a lot of criticism from TWICE fans. JYP Entertainment as the agency of TWICE also took action by reporting the incident to the authorities. The sasaeng named Josh posted a post containing Chaeyoung’s phone number on January 26th, 2020. He argued that he posted the number because he wanted to share it with other fans who want to provide support to Chaeyoung directly.

Through the official Instagram account of TWICE, Chaeyoung also expressed her disappointment because of things that are personal and confidential just spread by the sasaeng. Implicitly, she conveyed, the way the sasaeng used to show support was wrong.

“I think I’ve reached the limit where I’m silent, waiting for people to step back and wait for the right time. When 11 random-looking numbers are posted on the internet, by someone who has no sense of consideration or respect, my cellphone is flooded with phone calls and messages, and I have to go through things that should never have happened.

This problem not only happened to me, but also to our valued members (TWICE), and many other idols in our agency. I ask you to think, even just for a moment, about how you act that you don’t think much about others than packaging it and saying that it is a form of love. It makes so many people feel nervous and very tired.

And don’t let the ‘little packaging’ you make bring a bad name to your fans, who show us their love, support and love in the right and healthy way. I’m not a person who is easily swayed by problems like this. I didn’t write this because I couldn’t help feeling angry. I just want to say, this is something wrong. That this is something to be ashamed of,” wrote Chaeyoung.
